Spence Plumbing have extensive experience in commercial retail plumbing including refurbishment and new plumbing installations for service stations and convenience stores around south east Queensland. The specific plumbing requirements of this sector include environmental and contamination prevention and storm water management.

As one of the few commercial plumbers who specialise in this field, we work with business owners to develop specific commercial plumbing solutions that demand a technical, results driven and timely approach.

We can take care of installing, maintaining, servicing and designing appropriate plumbing code requirements for service stations in Brisbane including working with global brands like BP. With a recent opening of a new nationally branded service station in Brisbane we were required to coordinate with owners and other trades to tailor a specific solution for the plumbing needs of a petrol station. This included:

  • Back Flow Prevention Devices to meet local government requirements.
  • Storm Water Holding Facilities including other environmental approaches to avoid contamination from pollutants
  • Hot and Cold Water Supply
  • Potable (and Non-Potable) water supply.
  • Underground plumbing and drainage including gas fitting connections
  • Commercial car wash facilities and drainage
  • Interior and exterior installation of plumbing fixtures and fittings
  • Gas installation and connection for commercial cooking facilities
  • Installing Pumps
  • Filtered Systems, Oil separators, trade waste drains
  • Public Restroom facilities including basin, toilet and drains.

Working with the owners of new petrol stations sites, we are able to recommend and advise both business owners and builders on the best plumbing system design to for the needs of the business as well as offer preventative maintenance solutions and advice.

Spence Plumbing have completed refurbishment work on existing petrol station and convenience outlets to enhance existing plumbing systems to be more efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly. This is all completed while providing a focus on workplace safety for your staff and customers and reducing disruption to your business.
